When it comes to offsetting the emissions from your wedding, why should you choose Big Tree Climate Fund?

Not only are our carbon offsets top quality, but they meet our strict standards for not only helping combat global warming but also for enabling social development around the world, preserving biodiversity and ecosystems, and engaging in fair economics for all parties involved. - We don’t support offsets generated by factory farms or landfill methane capture projects. We feel these offsets create perverse incentives to increase the size (and inhumanity) of factory farms and send more to landfills. Capturing methane in these environments should be common practice not an extra source of revenue. We also don’t support large scale, industrial projects around the world. Our offsets support “the little guy”, renewable energy and natural ecosystems.
